Present Perfect Tense

          Hi, Friends! Today, i am going to explain about present perfect tense. The present perfect is used to indicate a link between the present and the past. The time of the action is before now but not specified, and we are often more interested in the result than in the action itself.

Formula :
(+) S + Has/Have + V3 (Past Participle)
      S +  Has/Have + Been + adj/noun/ad

(-) S + Has/Have + Not + V3
     S +  Has/Have + Not + Been + adj/noun/ad

(?) Has/Have + S + V3 + ?
       Has/Have + S + Been + adj/noun/ad


 The present perfect tense can be used:

1. To show a past action in which the time is not given.
   Example:
   - I have eaten my breakfast
   - She has finished her homework.
2. To show an action which has been completed very recently
   It is frequently used with the word just or already
   Example:
   - She has just left for work.
   - You have just missed the train.
3. To show an action which begin in the past and is still going on.
   It is often used with words such as since,for,ever, never,and always.
   Example:
   - We have lived in Singapore for ten years.
   - I have been here since eight o'clock.
   

Note :

• There is difference between gone to and been to. 
• Gone to is used if the subject is there or on the way there
• Been to is used if the subject has been there or has now come back
• Example :
  - She gone to Amerika for 10 years.
  - I have been to Singapore.
